Network Meeting - October 8, 2020
Thursday, October 8, 2020 (5:30 PM - 8:30 PM) (EDT)
Description
5:30p Thursday, October 8, 2020 - Stark Brewing Company, Manchester
“Working hard for something we don’t care about is called stress. Working hard for something we love is called passion.” ~Simon Sinek
During this session, we will leverage the power of artifacts as meaningful tools for bringing stories to life. Specifically, your stories.
In the world of storytelling, artifacts can teach us much about someone’s personal history and experiences.
We invite you to bring one artifact that best demonstrates why you choose to stay “in the game” despite the current challenges and demands placed on today’s school leader.
There is great enlightenment and understanding in revealing what drives you to lead those around you, especially through a pandemic. Equally, a night of storytelling, with colleagues, is also a way to validate your struggles, acknowledge celebrations and pause to admit that leaders also deserve moments of self-care.
“The goal is not to be perfect by the end, the goal is to be better today.” ~ Simon Sinek
Each meeting includes professional development session, dinner, raffle items, and 3 hours of CEUs.
We look forward to seeing everyone in person while taking COVID social-distancing precautions.
