Mentoring and coaching are the premier techniques used to help colleagues gain professional competence and confidence handling increasingly complex roles in school leadership. As a seasoned leader, are you interested in ushering in a new generation of leaders? Do you have a strong background in school leadership with excellent credentials and a good reputation? 

If so, please join us in an exciting training program specifically designed for those who wish to mentor or coach educators. 

NHASP Mentor-Coach Training Date: 

  •  Tuesday, July 13th 8:30am-Noon. (One Session only).

Virtual meeting on Zoom; Some pre-reading and preparation will be expected

Facilitator: Jay Nichols, Executive Director of the Vermont Principals' Association (VPA). Jay is a national trained Coaching Effectiveness and Better Conversations Everyday trainer.

Jay was the Vermont 2018 Superintendent of the Year. In addition to serving as the Executive Director of VPA, Jay does leadership, executive coaching and educational consulting for school districts. He also teaches School Ethics and Operations for aspiring principal candidates at Southern New Hampshire University and Leading Vermont Schools: Understanding the Principalship for new and new to Vermont school leaders at Saint Michael's College.
